Bad breath CureTraining Hello everyone, this is doctor U, Taiwoo Yoo. today’s topic is ‘Bad breath CureTraining’ bad breath means oral odor. there are three types of bad breath. the first one is subjective bad breath. second, objective bad breath, third, secondary bad breath. there are three types like this. I think you understand them. subjective bad breath is the most common case. literally, you feel your bad breath but others do not feel it or they don’t problematize it. but since you care about it too much, it makes another problem. for example, you may act awkwardly. you take care of oral hygiene too much. you may brush your teeth several times a day. you do everything to make the mouth clean. this is what people usually do. second, you may have a relationship problem. whenever you meet people, you get nervous to hide your bad breath. you may be afraid of meeting others and you may avoid people. when you are surrounded by strangers, you may think they are influenced by your bad breath. this is subjective bad breath. second, to talk about objective bad breath, people experience it less than subjective one. objective bad breath means that you don’t feel your bad breath but others feel your bad breath. when you have bad breath like this, your close friends will tell you the truth. but most people won’t tell you about it not to hurt your feeling. this is about objective bad breath. ah, the third one is secondary bad breath. bad breath is caused by other parts of the body. this case is one of the objective bad breath it means others can feel it except you. let’s find the causes of each bad breath one by one. ah, subjective bad breath is caused by common causes that I told you several times. there are at least 5 causes. first, tiredness and overwork. second, poor sleep. third, sensitiveness. fourth, thinking excessive and not enough rest. fifth, chronic dehydration. it’s very important. there is one more reason for the subjective bad breath. it is when you are aware of the others. when you are sensitive to others, a circuit of bad breath is created in your brain. I told you there is a disease circuit all the time. it wasn’t there in the beginning. it is created when I have some experience related to bad breath. when I am aware of my bad breath seriously, you may feel people whom you meet are influenced by your bad breath. you will get more nervous and care about it. then, your circuit of bad breath will command your mouth to get dry and your mouth will get dry through the nerve. it feels like your bad breath gets worse and you will act more awkwardly in front of others. this is how the circuit of bad breath works. this symptom will make a vicious cycle when you meet other people. there are 6 causes like this. here is a mechanism of how bad breath is created. to understand this mechanism, let’s think of horror movies. when you watching a horror movie, you get frightened and nervous. your mouth also becomes dry and you feel a bitter taste in your mouth. this is how your body reacts to sudden stress and tension. in fact, the 6 causes I’ve talked make you nervous all the time. you feel dryness and bitterness in your mouth chronically. also, bacteria develop in this process, releasing substances that causes the smell. when you smell your bad breath, you will take it worse than it is because you are sensitive about it. the circuit will be created when you experience a similar situation. this is the mechanism of subjective bad breath. then, what causes objective bad breath? as I said, there are 5 common causes. tiredness and overwork, sensitiveness, poor sleep, thinking excessive, not enough rest, and chronic dehydration. on top of that, there are three more causes. first, it is the negligence of oral hygiene. it is caused by not brushing your teeth or not curing gum disease. second, it is an irregular meal. third, it is alcohol and tobacco. all the 8 factors together cause the bad breath. let me explain its mechanism. as you know, there are a lot of bacteria in the mouth. food debris and saliva contain protein. when the bacteria break protein into pieces, chemical substances are created. they are called methylmercaptan and hydrogen sulfite, which cause bad smell. it sounds difficult? also, many odor-causing compounds are created in this process. that’s why you have bad breath. commonly, your tongue smells. especially, back tongue right before the throat. the coating on the tongue or between tongue cracks is the best place for bacteria. this is what happens very often in the back of the tongue. the second common place is teeth and gum. you can feel dental plaque and tartar with your tongue. dental plaque is a thin layer on the teeth. tartar has a rough surface and developed between teeth, which means it is created interdental. also, bad breath is caused by gum disease, prosthetics for cavity, and dentures. there is another part of the body. it is called tonsil. there are holes in the tonsil. when food debris is stuck in the tonsil, bacteria will decompose the food, releasing odor-causing compounds. when it lasts longer, tonsil stones can be created. tiny stones have the bad smell when you touch them. this is also one of the parts that causes bad breath. we’ve covered the causes of objective bad breath. lastly, let’s see what causes the secondary bad breath. it is caused by other parts of the body. typically, when the nose is infected by some diseases such as chronic rhinitis, chronic paranasal sinusitis or sinusitis, septal deviation, you may have postnasal drip. infection can cause bad smell. so, to be precise, it is not bad breath but nasal odor. since the mouth and the nose are linked together, the smell seems to be from the mouth. in addition to the nose, what linked to the mouth can make the smell. for example, bronchitis and lung infection can cause bad smell through outbreathing. esophageal reflux can also cause bad smell. general disease including diabetes, liver cirrhosis, or uremia can cause bad breath through outbreathing. of course, these diseases have symptoms in addition to bad breath. by the way, secondary bad breath is not that common. I’ve told you several diseases so far but it is only 1-2% of total bad breath subjective bad breath is more dominant and it is followed by objective one. subjective bad breath is that you are aware of your bad breath while objective bad breath is not. then how to find that you have bad breath? there are five ways. first, you can smell your bad breath right after getting up in the morning by blowing your breath into a paper cup. this is the first way. second, lick your hands and smell it. third, scrap your tongue with a plastic teaspoon and smell it. fourth, use dental floss to get rid of tartar and smell it. if tartar is the cause, you can smell it. the last one, it is to ask your family when it is hard to ask other people. your family will tell the truth more objectively. now, you know what causes bad breath and how to find whether you have bad breath. it’s time to start CureTraining. it’s not that a hard thing to do if you know the causes. first, it is the basic training that I told you to do all the time. as for tiredness and overwork, practice DoingEasy Training and my Body-Mind Restoring Training. getting up on time and eat a regular meal during the training. do 10% less for 2 weeks whatever it is; work, exercise, grouping, hobby. then, you can have some spare energy. if you don’t have enough sleep, do sleeping/resting training. if you are sensitive, do desensitizing training. if you think too much or spend time doing tv, pc, sp a lot, reduce tv, pc, sp and do reduce-thinking training. also, many people have chronic dehydration. it is caused by coffee and tea to women and by alcohol to men. drink 2 liters of water though it’s really hard to do. drink extra water. like a sip of coffee and a sip of water or like a cup of coffee and a cup of water. in this way, you can drink water easily. this is the basic training. next step is good oral hygiene. as I said, oral hygiene can cause objective bad breath as well as subjective bad breath to some degree. there are some ways to maintain good oral hygiene. first, brush your teeth right after having meal. it means more than 3 times a day. when you brush your teeth, you must use an interdental toothbrush. it is a tiny brush in a stick shape. a toothpick is not enough. it’s for picking out food debris. using an interdental toothbrush can remove tartar and this is the most important. second, you need to brush your tongue with a toothbrush. you don’t have to use toothpaste. just brush your tongue root. you can use tongue brush or coated tongue remover. but remember that you need to brush back of the tongue and it can be disgusting to do this at first. I also feel nausea when I brush my tongue root. the only way to remove a coated tongue is to brush your tongue root. third, you need to use dental floss. it’s important. people do not use dental floss often. these days, dental floss is attached to a stick which looks like a toothpick. you can choose whatever you want. I use the stick type because it is more convenient. it is enough to use dental floss once a day. dental floss is thick and strong. you can wipe out your gum and teeth with it so as to remove tartar between teeth. do it once a day. try to lick your teeth after using it, especially back of the front teeth. the rough thing will be cleanly removed. if you think it is not enough, get scaling in the dental clinic. you can remove tartar. also, you can improve periodontitis. you can get some teeth care there. if you are through this stage, you can remove other causes. there are two of them. cigarette and alcohol. there is no solution for smoking. reducing smoking is not the solution. there is no difference between smoking 20 cigarettes and 5 cigarettes. the only way is to stop smoking because smoking causes other problems in addition to bad breath. it is enough to reduce drinking alcohol.
