Hi guys! Welcome to Homeremedies1976! My
name is Stan and today we have a countdown with six of the best home
remedies against cavities. We’ll start at number 6 and end with
number 1. If you got some serious cavities, well they must be treated by a
dentist, however the following home remedies can strengthen tooth enamel at
the pre cavity stage, this process is known as remineralizing, and it prevents
the cavity from forming. These remedies should be used alongside dentist
recommended techniques such as brushing, preferably with fluoride toothpaste. We
start out with turmeric on number six today in Ayurveda turmeric is
often used to provide relief from cavities. It has anti-inflammatory and
antibacterial properties which keep the gums healthy and prevents tooth decay.
There are two ways to use turmeric first apply the turmeric on the affected
teeth for a few minutes and then resume rinse your mouth, and second mix turmeric
with mustard oil and massage with the mixture on your teeth and gums
for about 10 minutes. On number 5 we got got Aloe Vera. In a mouth-rinse study of
300 healthy people over four days, 100% pure aloe vera juice proved to
be just as effective as the standard mouthwash ingredient chlorhexidine. Another
study found similar results during a longer test period. Aloe Vera also
kills the plaque producing streptococcus mutans in the mouth, as well as the yeast
candida albicans, protecting both teeth and gums for decay.
Brush your teeth with aloe vera gel after your normal dental hygiene routine
or rinse your mouth with one hundred percent Aloe Vera juice. On
number four we got “eat foods with natural probiotics”. Because banned
bacteria associated with infection look for places to hide in the small
areas between the teeth, consuming probiotics helps to offset the acidic pH.
Foods rich in probiotics includes kombucha, kefir and fermented foods like
kimchi and sauerkraut. These foods stimulate the production of
healthy bacteria in the mouth needed to prevent plaque buildup and dental decay.
On number 3 we got “avoid sugary foods and drinks” This one is pretty obvious
but I will mention it anyway because a lot of people don’t realize this.
Consumption of sugar is among the leading causes of cavities. Sugar mixes
with bacteria in the mouth and forms an acid, which wears down tooth enamel.
But you should avoid sugary foods and drinks anyway it will benefit your
overall health greatly. On number two we got tea tree oil. Tea tree oil has
anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties in it which helps in fighting
the cavities. It is a simple process you just have to massage your teeth and gums
with tea tree oil and then rinse your mouth with warm water. So here we are at
number one which is oil pulling. The technique of using vegetable oil to
eliminate the impurities in your mouth is called oil pulling. In this
technique you have to rinse your mouth with oil for about five to ten
minutes. You can use any vegetable oil like olive oil or coconut oil but
coconut oil gives the best results. The rinsing process pulls the bacteria
out of your mouth. This very effective for cavities and tooth decay, and it also
decreases swelling present in the gum. Okay guys, we’ve reached the end of the
