Do you have a screaming toothache and you
just don’t know what you can do for it? Well my name is Michelle and I’m a dental assistant
with Solutionz and I’m here to explain to you on what you can do for your severe toothache.
Pretty much the first thing that you would need to do is immediately go see your general
dentist. If you are unable to see him, whether you are having the toothache over the weekend
or you just can’t get to see him for an appointment then another type of treatment option that
you can do at home for yourself to subside the symptoms that you are having with the
toothache is maybe purchase some over-the-counter what we call Ora Gel. It is a numbing medication
that you can place on the tooth and around the gums and this will actually numb the area
for about a good 20 to 30 minutes. You can do that consistently throughout the day, also
taking some Advil or Ibuprofen is a great pain reliever to take to help with the discomfort
that you might be having due to the fact that Ibuprofen and Advil have an anti-inflammatory
inflammation that might be starting to flare up from your toothache and also rinsing with
warm salt water rinses is a great treatment option to do if you can’t see your general
dentist because what the warm salt water will do is actually it will start to sooth that
area. It is not going to take the pain away completely nor will the Advil or the Ibuprofen
so that is why it is very important to go see your general dentist as soon as possible
and therefore he would be able to prescribe you the antibiotic to prevent any further
infection and then also too a pain reliever that is a lot stronger than Advil or Ibuprofen
and then he would give you a good diagnosis on the type of treatment options that you
can do in order to make sure that your severe toothache doesn’t happen again. Once again
my name is Michelle. I’m a dental assistant with Solutionz and I just explained to you
on what you can do for a severe toothache.

  1. what are brits doing watching vids on oral hygiene anyway? Isn't that the last thing you guys are interested in?

  2. what da fuck.. i dnt need you to tell me go and see a dentist. cum up wit beta video where we can treat ourself at home wit having to rush to pharmacy and buy all d bullshit gel or wateva that is to put it on. get a life

  3. I have to give the warm salt water a +500 over anything else! You just have to make it strong! Very strong! And it will hurt very badly at first when you first start swishing it on the side where the toothache is. You will think , oh God, what have I done! But, just keep swishing it around and for me, after a couple minutes, suddenly the pain stopped!!! But, you have to keep spitting it out and taking more fresh salt solution (you never want to swallow it) and keep doing this for at least 20 minutes! Not long enough and the pain comes back. And too long, well, its salt and its only as toxic as salt is! Just do not swallow it because of how strong it is or it could cause problems (like drinking sea water).

  4. abscess tooth take an Advil liquid gel and squeeze it into a piece of bread. Cover the one side thoroughly and then shove it into the cavity on your tooth. I know it hurts to touch and it's the worst pain you have ever experienced but let that bread with the Advil liquid gel sit there. It will take the pain away completely 100%. You will need to repeat this repeatedly throughout the day as the bread holding the liquid against the offending area dissolves. Use this time to find anti biotics and at least you won't have pain till they kick in. I wish I would have known this year's ago.

  5. OMG 😵 I'm healed ,now I can go to sleep ,thanks the salt water worked ,it took away pain 100%, and trust me I tried everything 😁

  6. Ive had a toothache for 2 weeks straight, and it's only getting worse. My dentist is telling me they can't do anything. I'm going INSANE!! Been taking oragel and Ibuprofen all day every day, it's only very slightly helping. I seriously have no idea what I'm going to do, I just want to go into a coma and come out a year later when this is healed.

  7. So my tooth had like a giant hole in it and it recently fell out but a couple days later my gum there hurts and the 2 teeth next to it kill me plz idk what to do

  8. Just came back from d dentist, gave me antibiotics, 800mg ibuprofen and salt water…until my doctor comes back and remove my wisdom tooth. 🤦‍♀️

  9. Thanks Blondie 😘 my spouse needed that plus it's Sunday 3:04am in the morning your an angel 🙏🙏🙏🤧🤧

  10. It's funny how teeth are treated differently than any other medical issue. I mean you can die from an abscess tooth if the infection spreads yet dental insurance is separate from medical and dentists pretty much keep bankers hours I have a horrible toothache that started Thursday evening so of course my dentist is closed Friday Saturday and Sunday so I have to wait until late Monday to even call them. WTF!!!
