Do you have a screaming toothache and you
just don’t know what to do? Well my name is Michelle and I’m a dental assistant with Solutionz
and don’t worry I’m here to explain to you on what you can do for your severe toothache.
First of all you would need to go see your general dentist immediately if you have a
toothache and therefore he would be able to prescribe you maybe a higher pain medication
and get you on antibiotics to prevent any further infection but if you are having the
toothache over the weekend and you just can’t get in to see your dentist then what you can
do at home is you can actually purchase Ora Gel. It’s an over-the-counter numbing medication
that you would place on the tooth and around the gum. This will kind of numb the area for
a good 20 to 30 minutes and kind of give you some pain relief for that period of time.
Also too you can take what we call Advil and Ibuprofen. Advil and Ibuprofen is a great
pain reliever to take because it has the anti-inflammatory so it will help with any inflammation that
you might have starting in that area and then rinsing with warm salt water rinses, it is
great, it soothes the area, the salt will actually kind of help clear out any infection
that might be starting around the gums and then the warm water will actually just kind
of sooth it also but definitely you always want to go see your general dentist if you
are having a toothache that is coming and you can already tell you are going to have
and therefore he can prescribe something for you to be able to hold you over the weekend
or until you are actually able to get the tooth fixed. Once again my name is Michelle
and I’m a dental assistant with Solutionz and I just explained to you on what you can
do for a severe toothache.

  1. Orajel or Ibuprofen won't even touch it if the nerve is exposed or your roots dying!! It feels like fucking electricity going through my tooth!! Gonna start RCT tomorrow!

  2. Advil, Ibuprofen and over the counter medicines didn't help my toothache at all. I called my daughter's dentist office and asked if I could be seen the same day as a walk -in, and they saw my swollen tooth and the dentist wrote me 2 prescriptions. Tylenol 3 and another one for the infection. AMAZING! I gave my friend the tube of Lidocaine gel and I wished I wouldn't have, because right after I gave her the gel, I had my first toothache. Wow!

  3. wow literally none of that will help, and if your nerve is exposed salt water will actually be very painful to use. how about yall start taking medi-cal so people can actually see the damn dentist.

  4. A couple of months ago one of my wisdom teeth started giving me serious trouble. As I never had tooth trouble before, I tried to postpone a visit to the dentist out of fear of pain. I took painkillers but after a few weeks even the strongest didn't work anymore. I was in excruciating pain for several hours and finally I went to the dentist who recommended that it should be removed immediatelly. Thank goodness and …procaine, I experienced no pain at all ! Not even injecting the anesthetic hurt, as an anesthetic spray was applied before the injection. I will never fear the dentist again !

  5. THAT CRAP DOESN'T WORK FOR A BROKEN TOOTH WITH EXPOSED NERVES AND AN ABSCESS ARE YOU JOKING???? Look I know you mean well, but what dentist gets patients into the office in 3 days??? NEVER! What one do you work for, does he accept Ohio Medicaid? Any Medicaid?? I have 6 broken on top at the gumline! 8ve been lookin for a dentist for months and none of them care if I want to take a bullet just to stop the pain. My jawline is so sore I can barely touch it and no dentists around here give a damn. Nor the emergency room Docs!!! DENTISTRY IS A FIELD OF MEDICINE THAT ONLY CATERS TO THE RICH!!! You seem too nice to be in the profession you're in. SMH dentists SUCK

  6. I do live in a small town. It's actually a village but the only dentists are hours away and will not accept state medicaid. Smh.

  7. The best thing I have found for extreme tooth pain is opana er generic. Do not get brand name because they are formulated to not crush which in turn makes them ineffective. Crush at least a 15 mg and snort it. Within a few seconds you will be pain free.

  8. can you start by helping me afford dental care in america with this shitty ass fucking economy i’m in 100 severe pain level i’m literally dying in pain

  9. Oragel doesn't work. You start salivating and it comes off immediately. It's such a useless product.

  10. Dentist won't help for shit !!! , you could be dying of pain and if you don't have no money you are fucked

  11. Use toothace red cross , dentist want you to waste your money , orajel work for 5 minutes . red cross work for 4 hours

  12. GET SOME LISTERINE. Put it in your mouth and swish it around the painful tooth. I did it 10 minutes ago and I feel great👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

  13. Oragel doesn't really do it for me. Red Cross brand Eugene Oil relieves the pain almost immediately and keeps the pain at bay for ~2 hours. You can find it at Walgreens or CVS phamacy.

  14. Girl please! That shit dont work ..and every body aint rich like you yall dentist folks charge to damn much its cheap to get it pulled but when we want to save the tooth and get it fix yall charge $300 $500 for one tooth to be done yall want to see folks die thats why you never tell folks with toothaches what they can really use for a bad toothache and dropped them prices down

  15. that stuff works but like for 5 minutes and the pain isnt even gone just makes it bearable i tube of that will last less than a day for me

  16. Seriously?
This is the WORST advise I have EVER been given for a legit toothache.
If this 'routine' has worked for you? Then, you haven't experienced REAL ducking tooth pain

NONE of this shit works… But thanks, I guess.

  17. Don't bother with oregel. Get some eugenol and cotton pieces. Lasts much longer and is ten times more effective than anything containing benzocaine.

  18. Go to doctor get antibiotics and painkiller that's the best solution.. Only that helped me out from the killing pain..

  19. I've got multiple teeth aching constantly, no reason for them to be aching as they seem to be relatively healthy but they are sore, it's mostly my upper molars on both sides

  20. I love how everyone always say "you must visit a dentist". People like this bitch, doctors, people that can just drop a $1k without blinking. Seriously, yall gonna pay for it? Cause I damn well can't! Literally the only option most can afford is getting it pulled. And even that is a few hundred dollars in my area.

  21. ATTENTION if you're in pain try these methods. Listerine swish for 30 seconds. Advil liquid gel. Poke a hole and squirt it on qtip to place directly on tooth. Becareful that stuff is like acid but it only burns a little. The tooth pain is worse. Finally try clove oil on finger or qtip directly on tooth. I buy a brand called red Cross. These work the best for me. Bless all of you

  22. Please if you can take care of your teeth now then do it. Don't put off the dentist because there's nothing worse than tooth pain. Mother's say they rather go through child birth again than deal with tooth pain…..

  23. 1. 800 mg ibuprofen and 1000 mg tylenol

    2. Warm salt water rinse

    3. CLOVE OIL OR EUGENOL (red cross toothache works wonderfully). This stuff does not numb your entire mouth like orajel. You have some slight tingling burning on the lips and gums but once that goes away your tooth and only your tooth goes numb and it lasts for much longer.

    4. Swish bragg's apple cider vinegar for 1 minute.

Trust me dont listen to this dismissive lady.

  24. Anyone searching YouTube for severe toothache has already tried Ibuprofen and Orajel. They have zero effect on severe, excruciating tooth pain.

  25. Thanks those really helped I am going to try those. Cause have to wait until my appointment but hopefully these tips can last me until then 🙂

  26. None of this works at all definatly see a dentist but the he'll with all the rest does nothing but toothache oil at wallgreens or hit up your local "street pharmacist"
