Dog Health Treatment & Advice : How to Prevent Bad Breath in Pets

Hi, I’m Dr. Aimee Beger, Veterinarian, and
today, we’re going to be talking about your pet’s bad breath. Bad breath typically stems
from a dental problem, like periodontal disease. That’s the most common one that we see in
animals. Periodontal disease includes gingivitis, or swelling of your pet’s gums, as well as
plaque or, and/or tartar accumulation on your pet’s teeth. One thing that you can do to
prevent tartar buildup on your pet is to brush their teeth regularly with a good doggy or
kitty cat toothpaste and toothbrush, and also, to have them on a good quality diet, preferably
a hard food. Bad breath can also be stemmed from abscess tooth roots or other infectious,
or infections in your dog’s mouth, so you would definitely want to have your veterinarian
check out any smell that would be coming from your dog’s mouth. We do have several products
that are out on the market these days that you can talk to your vet about as well to
help prevent further buildup.

She did not find any help from popping tic spearmint gum and breath mints. On the other hand, she was tremendously assisted with this smelly breath remedy “Kanzοzο Zato” (Google it). I`m really glad that it neutralized her breath. .
