hey guys, welcome to my bathroom! If you’re new here it would mean a lot to me if you would subscribe down below! So in today’s video I’m bringing you my skincare routine, I did a video kind of similar to this where I showed you How I cleared my skin of acne so if that’s what you’re looking for I’ll link it down below but this video is more like my skincare routine on an everyday basis now that i have pretty clear skin on good days. Cause when you’re clearing acne you have to have like really harsh products like benzoyl peroxide, so now that my skin is better I’ve developed this new routine full of kind of softer products, it actually clears my skin better if I use only like one or two products. I’m currently wearing no makeup I just woke up and now I’m gonna be doing my morning skincare routine and then I’ll come back in the nighttime to show you what I do then. So first I’m gonna be using this towel I don’t know if you can see but the material is kind of bumpy kind of rough and I’m gonna be using this to wipe off what I put on at night and kind of exfoliate in the drier parts of my face which are my chin and like my temples right here So you can see that I’m like red here that’s not because I’m harming my face it’s just because it’s sensitive and this is cold water. So I kind of like to press it on my skin. I’m gonna take a dry corner and kind of dry it and also exfoliate my skin and I’m just being super gentle cause the harsher you are on your skin the worse your breakouts might be. So this step changes depending on what I’m doing during the day so this moisturizer has SPF in it and this one doesn’t. Today I’m not gonna be tanning or in the sun at all because it’s raining I’m not going to be using my Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 47 this is a really great moisturizer if you need SPF so today I’m gonna be using my Lala Retro Whipped Cream Moisturizer from Drunk Elephant this is a really great moisturizer it’s super thick so if you have crazy dry skin like me it’s perfect. So I’m just going to be taking a little on my finger, dotting it all over my skin, and then just rubbing it in. My eyelids and my under eyes get really dry also so I like to put a little bit of moisturizer on there too I’m gonna take a little bit extra just for my chin cause that is the driest area on my face I’m stupid… I have moisturizer on my chin and on my eyelid that is not blended in and it is the most disgusting and annoying thing that I have had to deal with while editing this section. I’m so sorry from the bottom of my heart that I’m so IDIOTIC that I did not notice. I will make it up to you in the nighttime portion, I promise, I will make sure that everything is blended in and I’m so sorry about these next clips. And I’m also gonna bring it down my neck because I’ve heard that like a general rule is whatever you put on your face like skin care wise you should also put on your neck. So then I also have two lip balms that I kind of switch between I have Jack Black Intense Therapy lip balm Shea Butter and Vitamin E SPF 25, so this one is perfect if I’m going to tan but it’s raining outside so I’m gonna be using my Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E Swivel Stick Ultimate Moisture for marks, blemishes, and rough dry skin. It looks like a glue stick but it’s a really great lip balm if you have dry lips or you just want to moisturize them So that is literally all I do in the morning for my skin as I said I like to keep it super simple so that I don’t dry out my skin, and yeah this is just what works for me. I mentioned this in my acne clearing acne video but a great part about summer is that it’s the time to like go barefaced and not wear a lot of makeup, I think that also helps with clear skin because there’s no makeup on your face that’s clogging your pores, so I will probably not wear makeup today, I want to get my nails done so you’ll see my nails in the nighttime portion, I might put on mascara but yeah I’m not going to touch my face cause I just want to let it breathe for the entire three months of summer. And yeah I think that’s all I have to say I will see you at night. Bye! I’m back So it’s nighttime and I’m exhausted and I’m very excited to wash my face and go to sleep. I don’t do too much at night either as I said I have a pretty simple skincare routine morning and night. Oh by the way I got my nails done, I said I was doing that, I’m very happy with how they turned out. So the cleanser that I use is this Drunk Elephant Jelly Cleanser it’s in the orange bottle or the scent cantaloupe. As you can probably I’m not wearing any makeup, I just didn’t feel like putting it on today but if I were wearing makeup I would still be able to just use this cleanser because it also removes makeup as well as any other dirt, bacteria that gets on your face during the day. So I’m gonna be using a tiny little drop of this because I have nothing on my face other than moisturizer from the morning. I’m so tired you can tell from my under eyes I’m so tired I’m patting not rubbing cause rubbing will irritate your face some more. Instead of moisturizer I’m a little bit fancy, I use The Ordinary 100% Cold Pressed Virgin Marula Oil, this is amazing to just like cool your face and moisturize it till the morning This is super great hydration if your skin is dry like mine is. So you just take it with like a little dropper, and then I put it on my palm rub it in and then just put it all over my face and yeah so I use this as a moisturizer all over my face and my neck and I don’t even have to use eye cream because I can put this under my eyes and it moisturizes them and soothes them and it’s just perfect all around So what I would normally do as the final step after the oil is put on my lip balm I use my Palmer’s Cocoa Butter lip balm that looks like a glue stick that I used in the morning, I usually use that at nighttime too but I forgot it in my bedroom so I’ll put that on later but yeah this is the end of my video I really hope you guys enjoyed it if you did don’t forget to give it a thumbs up and subscribe down below and I will see you in my next video. Bye!
