Remove A Ring Stuck On A Sore Swollen Finger With Dental Floss

Articles Blog

Today we are going to learn how to get a suck
ring off your finger. If you find that a ring is too tight to pull off all you need is a
piece of dental floss and then something to poke it under the ring and what I am going
to use today is a nail file. So if I just grab this nail file and try and poke this
dental floss under my finger like so there we go. A little bit difficult. There we are
its through. I hope this happens quick because I’m starting to lose circulation. Then what
we need to do is we just need to wrap the knuckle tightly with the dental floss just
until you sort of eliminate that bulge and then you want to take the other end that you
poked through and unwind the finger and it should start to come off the knuckle. Here
we go. it’s still tight. There we are, it should start to come off the knuckle and there you
are it’s off. Dental floss a little bit ruined but the ring iws off the finger which is a
good thing and there you are you can save yourself a trip to the emergency next time
that happens. Done.

  1. Edit : Please take this video off!

As a doctor, I would say this is very dangerous. You're creating an even tighter pressure over ur veins and possibly cutting off arterial supply too. This can lead to more damage and even more swelling and eventually the portion of ur finger not getting blood supply will die. So u'll end up having to cut off the dead portion.

  2. My finger was too swollen and numb for me to do this so I Grabbed a kitchen knife, slid something under the ring to prevent me from cutting my finger off, and almost an hour later BOOM, sliced the ring in half 👍🏾

  3. Thank you so much, this worked for me. My finger was swollen with eczema – and I was about to head to a jeweller to get it cut off, this saved me a trip !!! Elated!

  4. I use soap. Just squit it on and lotion your finger with it. Make sure it get under the ring. Comes off pretty easily.

  5. U could easily have used a little $2 set of diamond dust dremmel bits from Harbor Freight.
just rubbing it with a little metal file long enough would have also worked

  6. Or you can wet your finger put dish soap or any type you got and DONT RUB IT and make it all soapy then you twist the ring around you finger and keep doing it till you can pull it off with out hurting your finger.

  7. I was at school and my ring somehow got stuck, I couldn’t get it off and my finger was turning another shade, the front office called the fire department to cut it off. They told us we could’ve just use dental floss 😂

  8. When you wrap dental floss around put soap around your finger and it will be alot easier and it wont cut your skin

  9. TIP: PUT DISH SOAP ON YOUR FINGER BEFORE RIGHT AFTER YOU PUT THE STRING AND BEFORE YOU START UNWINDING IT BECAUSE IT WILL MAKE IT MUCH LESS PAINFUL

  10. Of course this is going to hurt, but who cares when your other options are losing a finger or ruining your jewelry. It's already painful to have a ring get stuck so this is nothing

  11. The hardest part for me was getting that string under the ring. It hurt like hell and took so much effort.

  12. This did not work for me 😩😭 the ring is still on my thumb and the floss made it even more swollen. I cannot get this ring off, it's a mens wedding band so it's thick and wide. I don't know what else to do, I don't want to have to cut it off

  13. If you weren't a SODOMITE and didn't wear a ring on your pinky you wouldn't have to worry about it swelling up after shoving it up your gay lovers asshole all night.

  14. LET ME HELP YALL OUT:
•A String Doesn’t Always Work So:
TAKE FINGERNAIL CLIPPERS AND KEEP CUTTING IN A CERTAIN SPOT

THEN USE PLYERS TO BEND OR BREAK THE METAL

  15. i didnt work i just got a diamond ring for my birthday and i was going to go get it cleaned and i couldnt get it off

  16. wish I'd seen this 10 mins ago!!!!! just spent an agonizing 10 mins using cold water + liquid soap + and 3 in one oil. did it but very difficult and painful. Don't use this method, please!!! Will now Have finger wrapped in cold- water-soaked- kitchen- towel for rest of day to reduce pain & swelling. Not good at all.
However – if you ladies have ever had an extremely difficult birth with no pain-killers except gas n air, then this will be a walk in the park compared!

  17. It works with thread and yarn too (at least for me and my friends it did)
You can also add lotion, butter, foam soap, oil, ice if it hurts really bad after/before/during.

  18. Thank you do much i was in this situation and the freaked ouy until i watcjed your video now ots off the ring is off thank you

  19. um dish liquid will get it off..or coconut oil..you dont have to do that to your finger with the string..gosh..that looks painful

  20. Sorry don’t believe your rings REALLY
stuck…I tried all these YouTube tricks on a tungsten ring on my right
Ring finger and nothing came close till I bought diamond cutting wheels for my Dremel. Slipped a piece of metal under the ring to protect my finger then had to cut it through in two places. Had to keep dipping finger into cold water because the ring got so hot. It’s great to be free!
